Games are becoming increasingly popular on a day by day basis and as a result it is the perfect medium for teaching people about the cause or subject that you’re working with. With a combined 25 years of game development experience we are perfectly capable of helping you bring your idea to life and building on it in ways you never thought was possible. And although creating a game seems extremely complicated, our three step process is there to help you every step of the way.

Design Document

Together we will create the specification of your game idea. This will act as a blueprint that all parties can follow throughout the development process. This allows us to keep track of what you want and ensure we deliver it to the letter.

Prototype

We will develop a fully playable prototype based on the specifications within the design document. This gives you the chance to play a ‘basic’ version of your game without having large development times and the costs that come with it.

Finished Product

Once you’ve seen the prototype we will discuss what changes are required and begin working on the final version of your game. This will include a lengthy process of ironing out bugs and polishing all the graphics and animations.

We can usually start at any point within this process and can also stop at any point too. Only want to go as far as the design document? That is perfectly fine! Not too sure about the prototype? Then we won’t go a step further. This process is designed to allow all parties to move in and out of the development cycle without any ramifications.

But how can a game benefit your company, cause or subject?

Games are extremely versatile and a well thought out and planned game can accomplish anything. It’s not the same as reading a book or watching a video. Playing games force the player to take proactive or reactive steps which may have consequences which in turn forces them to think about the choices they will make. There are many important causes around the world but many go almost unheard of. By using games to represent your cause you can easily raise awareness and inform masses of people about your cause.

An example of this could be a simple lumber jack game. You must run your company, cutting down trees and selling wood, hire new lumber jacks and expand your business. Quite the game! What if the game also included environmental effects, global warming and the dangers to wild life. Now you’re raising awareness!

Certain subjects can be complicated to explain to some target audiences. Through the medium of games its possible to break down a game in such a way, teaching can be made simple.
